SquadX Corporate

SquadX was built around a simple idea: make it easier for people inside a company to take part in activities together. An employer or employee could create something like a football match, bowling night, or another company activity. Other employees could then see what was happening and decide if they wanted to join. The product needed separate experiences for companies managing the platform and employees using it day to day.

We worked on the employer portal and admin panel, including activity management, company management, calendars, approvals, payments, reporting, and other parts of the platform. On the employee side, the SquadX Corporate Mobile App was used to browse activities, view details, and join events within the company. We also created a shared GraphQL SDK using Apollo Client and GraphQL Code Generator. Since several SquadX applications were working with the same backend, this gave them a common API layer instead of maintaining the same integration logic separately. Alongside that, we worked on reusable components, automated tests, and performance improvements across the applications.

The platform gave companies a way to manage employee activities while giving employees a separate mobile experience to discover and join them. The shared GraphQL SDK was used across more than five applications and reduced duplicated API integration work by around 50%. We also reduced bundle size by around 25%, improved time-to-interactive by around 30%, and maintained more than 80% test coverage across key areas.
